The Swarovski Optik 5-25x52 dS Gen II SR Digital Riflescope takes all the guesswork out of shooting to greatly improve your accuracy when you're shooting anywhere between medium and extreme long range.Equipped with the Swarovski Rail no-ring mounting system, the scope features a wide zoom range and an oversized objective that allows you to use it for large and small game in all light conditions and keeps views bright and clear, even at long ranges. It comes with the full complement of optical coatings to maximize light transmission and keep the lenses clear and clean.Beyond the optical performance you'd expect from a Swarovski riflescope, the dS is packed with a suite of electronics and tools to get you on target, starting with an integrated laser rangefinder and inclinometer. These measure the distance and relative angle from you to your target and, using low-power consumption Bluetooth connectivity, transmit that data to your smartphone running a companion app for iOS or Android devices. The app takes the distance and angle transmitted from the scope and adds information you've entered-such as your rifle and ammunition load, altitude, air pressure, wind speed, and temperature-and calculates an adjusted aiming point, which it transmits back to the scope. With this new aiming point determined, the illuminated aiming point on the reticle is moved to the appropriate position. Now, all you need to do is put the dot on your target and squeeze. At no point do you need to manually adjust your turrets, so your rifle remains properly zeroed at all times.Protecting the optics and electronics is a large 40mm aluminum maintube and housing that is treated with a scratch-resistant anodized finish. The scope is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to 13 feet and resistant to internal fogging, even in extreme conditions and temperatures. Front objective filter threads allow you to install polarizing or specialty filters to further improve performance, while the included clear lens caps give you another level of protection with the ability to use the scope with them on.
