Midwest Industries offers a rail extension for the FN SCAR series. Designed for either the SCAR 16 or SCAR 17, this lightweight extension adds 6" of usable rail to the rifle. Four MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rails allow the user to mount accessories wherever needed and the 2 anti-rotation flush cups for Quick Detach sling swivels allow for carry by right or left handed users. Attaching to the underline of the gun, this rifle can be fully serviced with the rail extension in place. If further disassembly is required, the rail conveniently slips off with the barrel assembly.
