In 2010 Griffin launched the M4SD Tactical Compensator for Gate-Lok(TM) suppressors. This was a low concussion hybrid comp that allowed a compact yet high performance device to mount a suppressor. Consumers have been requesting a Taper Mount version of this for many years and we are happy to complete this product development without compromise. Griffin has focusing more on muzzle device R&D than any other suppressor manufacturer. This device incorporates vast R&D resources from years of testing low concussion devices but also adds to it with new technology. Billet machined from 2 pieces of 17-4 Stainless steel, this device is precision TIG welded together to provide the largest possible internal expansion chamber which reduces concussion as effectively as possible.
