The CVA Optima Rifle has a completely re-engineered butt stock. The rear stock is 100% ambidextrous and comes with a reversible hammer spur so the gun can be fired by right and left-handed shooters. However, the stock now features an adjustable length-of-pull spacer just in front of the CrushZone recoil pad. The Nitride finish technology, known as Salt Bath Nitride, is used to treat the barrel and offers exceptional wear resistance, unparalleled corrosion resistance in a scratch resistant, uniform black color. The cheek riser system is integrated directly into the Optima stock. This cheek riser allows for optimal sight picture no matter if you are using a scope or open sights. The cheek riser on the Optima comes with two separate spacers that raise the cheek rest A 1/4" and A 1/2", This gives the shooter three different heights to adjust 0.00" (without a riser plate), 0.25" or 0.50".
