Vortex Venom Red Dot

For people who wish to have a quicker response while aiming with better precision, the Vortex Venom mini red dot is one of the best red dot scopes available today. The Vortex Venom offers a tiny reflex sight that can come either in 6 or 3 MOA dot styles. In general its appearance seems quite familiar to most other mini red dot sights but there are a few things that set it apart as one of the best red dot scopes in the market. The battery compartment for the red dot scope in located on top of the scope making it possible to change the battery without removing the sight from your mount or accidentally disturbing the zero for your gun.

Considered to be one of the best red dot sights on the market, the Vortex Venom offer great features that make it worthy of the title. It surely delivers, with an auto brightness adjustment feature that works in either bright daytime or nighttime. The response time of the red dot scope is also quick to changing levels of brightness and most hunters will barely notice any change in the reticle while aiming. In auto mode, the sight shuts off automatically after 14 hours to conserve battery. If the auto brightness adjustment isn’t for you, this red dot scope also offers manual brightness adjustment by simply holding the up button located on the scope until the reticle flashes allowing you to adjust the brightness to your specifications.

One of the other features offered on one of the best red dot sights in the market is its water proof body. This makes it ideal for use in almost any kind of weather. The battery life is also great on the red dot sight, with up to 3.4 years’ worth of battery life as claimed by Vortex. The reticle offered on the scope clearly makes it one of the best budget red dot scopes available, as the reticle is crisp and bright making for easy use. It is relatively parallax free compared to similar models available on the market further backing the claim of it being labeled as one of the best budget red dot scopes that can be found today.

To sum it up, I found very few things to complain about the Vortex Venom Mini Red Dot. The only real downside was that it had some trouble properly mounting on bigger guns which was a little disappointing. But with a clear, accurate reticle, impressive battery life, durable water-proof body and a relatively parallax free sight, the scope is definitely one of the best red dot scopes today and at $230 it is reasonably priced.
